We thought you might like to see some photos about our already sold or adopted cats, so created a page for them. This will give you some idea of what kittens you might have if you decide to breed yourself and just be a nice reminder for us too
We love for their new families to send us updates and photos about the babies too and will post them here when available.
The Firefly Boys
Born January 16, 2009 of Isis and Ramses
Jayne - Male. Jayne is the biggest of the 5 Firefly Boys with beautiful gray and white markings and deep green/gray eyes.
He is super affection and he loves to rub noses with you (and I encourage it by saying “noses” every time he does). He will also tap your face if you aren’t paying attention to him. Loves to sleep with you, often snuggled against you … and warning: he just may wake you up at 5 am wanting some quality snuggle petting time! He also loves watching you type on the computer and is a good companion while you work.
Jayne found his new family on August 9!
Book - male. One of the prettiest gray and white kittens we have ever had, he has splashes of white on his chest, belly, feet and a white V on his face. He is our “weird tail” of the group - its about half the length of the others and hooks at the very tip (not a health issue). He tends to walk around with it folded tight up against his back causing his back hair to have a “part” right down the center! It’s adorable! It is totally normal otherwise and he moves it around a lot.
He is just figuring out what snuggling is all about and loves being petted, though is a bit less likely to lay on you or wake you in the middle of the night for loving as his brothers. His fur is super soft and very rabbit-like. He has also learned how to bug you for petting and has a constant purr motor.
Book found his wonderful new family August 9, 2009!
The Bones Crew
Born October 2, 2008 of Isis and Ramses.
Bones - A lovely buff/cream color male, Bones is curious and playful. He was the first one out of the box, first one climbing, and the largest of the 4 - at least right now! His favorite thing seems to be wrestling with other cats - especially Sealy - but he also loves anything he can bat around and have fun with or roll around with like the edge of the throw rug. He would be great in a family with other cats.
He likes being held when he isn’t in ornery mode and his fur is starting to fill out - we think he will end up being a real fluff bunny. He is still a bit of the wild child but we think will settle down as he gets older and would be great with kids.
He is starting to want to sleep with us and purrs up a storm! Will end up being a cuddler for sure!
Angela - A lovely, shy little gray/white fluff of fur, Angie is the runt of the litter though starting to catch up with her litter mates and can now kick their butts on occasion!
She is very gentle and laid back compared to her wrestling litter mates! She loves being held and is right now the biggest cuddler in the bunch snoozing on us while watching TV. Her fur is just filling out and we think she will have a very full, dense coat as she matures. Her eyes are changing from blue now and we think they will end up gold/green. Angela is part of our permanent family.
Sealy - A beautiful white/gray seal point female - she is our first seal point and only our second white kitten.
Sealy has a lovely personality and still has blue eyes which think will last! All white, she has seal point markings of gray ears, tail, and beautiful gray markings on her face plus hints of gray on a couple of feet. As Ragamuffins can take 2-3 years to reach their full size and color, we believe she will become even more beautiful as she gets older and look forward to seeing how her markings develop!
She and Bones are the prime wrestlers in the bunch and play a lot together, so she would do well in a family with multiple cats.
The Pudding Twins
Marbles and Ramses gave us 2 beautiful Ragapers (Ragamuffin/Persians) on September 3, 2008.
As Marbles did not produce much milk, they were bottle fed as well to insure good nutrition making both real cuddlers. Ragapers tend to be a bit smaller than Ragamuffins, especially as our Persian mother is a mini Persian weighing just 7 lbs. Our other Ragapers average 7-9 lbs with at least a pound being fur!
Vanilla - Born at 6:30 pm - Found his new mom 12/22/08. Was about 4 lbs at the time.
A cream color male but with splashes of white on his face, belly and feet. Thanks in part to being bottle fed, he loves laying with you and cuddling - and has a constant purr motor when you are petting him! He tends to sleep more with the other cats right now, but would probably end up on your bed if he is the only cat. He would do well with children and gets along great with the dogs too.
He loves wrestling with his brother and is very curious, trying to find nooks and crannies to sleep in like our bookcase. He also is playful and has a loud purr motor. His fur is starting to fill out and that tail gets wider every day! See George and Phoebe in our permanent family for an idea of the fluff bunny he may grow into!
Pudding - Born at 4:30 PM - Part of our Permanent Family
Pudding is an all cream color male with very little white and is very, very affectionate.
He is very playful and loves wrestling. He is more likely to curl up with you though then Vanilla is and loves laying on your shoulder or lap. He also loves to nestle into your neck at night and has a constant purr motor! He is very playful often bouncing around the family room in the morning and loves playing tag with the younger cats. His tail is SUPER full a good deal wider than he is!
The Buffy Gang - Born June 10, 2008 of Isis and Ramses
Willow - Born at 10:10 am
Willow has the most white of any of this litter of kittens with 4 white feet and a white chest and splash on the top of her belly. She is super affectionate and loves being petted and held - and can verge on being annoying when she wants loved NOW! She also loves to play, especially with other cats.
She has a bit of a shorter tail with a “kink” in it - could be a slight break that she was born with and doesn’t bother her in the least, but the tip of her tail does not move as much as the others. (Momma Isis is a small ragamuffin and 4 kittens tend to get crowded in her womb - the tails are generally the things that get crowded out - hence Piglets curly one and Roos stunted one as well as Willow’s “kink”.) Her tail is a love C shape though curled over her back and with the fur filling out, is truly beautiful!
She loves to snuggle in with you at night tending to lay next to you more than sleep on you as she used to do (a good thing I think!). She will want loving as soon as she realizes you are awake so expect a cold nose on yours to help your alarm clock! She will also tend to lay next to or on your lap when watching TV or working on the computer.
Cordelia - Born June 10, 2008 at 11:52 am - $50
Cordelia is a calico with a mix of white, tan and gray. She is very curious - the one most likely to get into trouble!
She is also affectionate when you can get her to hold still for a few moments. She does like sleeping with you and just being near, but isn’t quite as cuddly as the others. This will probably change as she gets older and if there are less other cats to annoy than we have
She also loves the dogs and rubs on them frequently.
She currently has a bit shorter fur than her sisters, but this may change over time. Most Ragamuffins have long fur, but this can vary and daddy Ramses is on the shorter side. Her eyes are turning a deep gold. Her fur is now starting to get fluffier too - especially around her head. She is still shorter fur and is also the smallest of all of them, only about 5 lbs.
Cordy found her wonderful new mother August 9, 2009
The Pooh Crew - Born February 17, 2008 of Isis and Ramses
This was our first litter that had unique tails - Piglet with a curly Q and Roo with a thick tail (looks like it folded over in the womb and became short and double thick!). Tails are the things that are most often developmentally challenged in small mother’s wombs - it doesn’t affect the cat’s health at all and isn’t painful for them.
Piglet -The one that set the theme for this litter, Piglet is a gray and white male with a curly tail that looks like a big powder puff and a half white face, white belly and feet and looks very much like his daddy. His nose is actually half pink and half black and he has beautiful golden/green eyes. He is already bigger than his daddy, Ramses, and is going to be a big cat once he finishes growing we think - he is already 8 pounds.
Piglet is a real lover and a definite lap kitty. Just loves being on you, with you or near you all day long. He loves dogs as well as other cats and would be perfect as a companion kitty for a single or elderly person as he is so affectionate. He is likely to want to sleep on you at night and if he thinks you are awake, will snuggle against you wanting to be petted - even if it is 4 am! I am really going to miss him as he reminds me a lot of a cat I had years ago that barely let you sit down before he jumped in your lap!
Roo and Pooh were also in this litter, though went to their new home months ago and are doing great! We will add their photos here when we have time too. Roo had a “half” tail that didn’t bother him in the least (he was born with it).
Pebbles - Born 2007
Our first Ragaper baby, Pebbles is sweet and affectionate - though a little skittish right now thanks to battles with daddy Ramses and can get that pissed off Persian look as you can see. He has that Persian attitude.
He is a beautiful gray and white with a lot more white than most of our babies and a very, very full tail that is wider than he is! He has very deep golden eyes and a bright pink nose.
He was our surprise kitty as we didn’t think his mother, Marbles, could get pregnant any more but we guess she decided she liked Ramses more than the male Persian we had for 9 years who she never had a baby with. He has my favorite name as a “chip” off of Marbles (hehehe) and has a bit of pebble texture with big gray splotches on his otherwise white body. Of course, you can rename him if you’d like. He is a sweet heart and we think will settle right in somewhere where he can be the undisputed king of the house.
Ying and Yang
Isis’s first litter with Ramses, we had a gorgeous all white and one all gray, hence ying/yang. Also turned out to be 1 boy and 1 girl. They were very quickly adopted.
